Our history

Reform Italia Srl was born around 1980, when two colleagues who in the pharmaceutical industry had worked together on active substances of plant origin meet again after more than 10 years of separation.

Both chemists by training and mentality, both separated from the pharmaceutical industry. One, in addition to being a chemist, had also become a pharmacist, the other a herbalist. One in his pharmacy, the other in his herbalist's shop. One more expert in chemistry, the other with more botanical experience, because he had traveled the world looking for them.

At a certain point the two ask themselves: “But is it really necessary that only large industries, and only they, can make the active ingredients that Medicine and Pharmacy require? There are also small requests: those substances that grown-ups, who have become too big, do not want or cannot do anymore! The question is still there - small, but there is - but no one does the substances anymore. So why don't we make them? " One smacks of botany, the other of chemistry. And the two get together, first as a hobby, then seriously.

Thus was born Reform Italia Srl which has grown over the years. In 2001, increasing the requests and therefore the work, the company is no longer able to stay in the only room in which it was born and is forced to change headquarters by moving to Endine Gaiano where it builds a new headquarters on its own land.

Unfortunately, in 2009, after a short illness, one of the founding partners died, but despite this the company continues in its intent: to supply pure substances from vegetable origin, trying by every available means to give the customer a product of the best possible quality. So in 2006 the company obtained the ISO Certification, which it continues to maintain. Furthermore, in 2014, to meet the needs of the market and customers, it was decided to build two new departments to obtain in the future, which we hope is not too far away, the GMP Certification for 2 of our products: Ouabaina and Cantaridina.

However, despite the various changes dictated by time and the market, our company continues to be a small laboratory that produces rare substances of plant origin, or purified extracts that no one else does. A small laboratory, unique of its kind, where customer requests can be satisfied and where customers have now become almost family given the bond that has formed after this long period of collaboration. A small family-run laboratory where the human aspect is never put aside or underestimated. We will always do our best to help you.
